Telehealth Visit

What is a telehealth visit?

This is a real-time, virtual visit with your Innovative Healthcare Physician using your existing mobile devise or computer. Depending on your needs your Ob/Gyn will determine whether telehealth visit is right for you.

How do I schedule my telehealth visit?

Simply book your appointment here, or call our office as you normally would to schedule an appointment, and let us know that you are interested in a telehealth visit.

On the day of my appointment, how do I access my telehealth visit?

Before your appointment, please ensure that your connection is strong - be it internet or mobile service signal. Also, find a quiet place (if you can) where you are unlikely to be interrupted during your visit, double check that your connection is strong - be it internet or mobile service signal and your battery is sufficiently charged. Lastly, most patients find that using earbuds, with a microphone, makes it easier for you and your provider to hear each other.

You will receive a notification 5 -10 minutes before your appointment on your device. You will be prompted to wait in a virtual waiting room for a brief moment. Afterwards, your dedicated Ob/Gyn will acknowledge you and your virtual appointment will begin.

Is Telehealth covered by insurance?

Standardly, remote telemedicine medical claims are paid by most insurance companies when they are spaced 7 days apart and does not lead to an in-person medical visit within the next 24 hours. For specific coverage related to your insurance carrier, please consult with your insurance company directly.

Connecting with your Ob/Gyn on the day of your telehealth visit.

Approximately 10 -15 minutes before your appointment, you will receive a text message containing the link that will bring you to our “virtual waiting room”. Once there, your dedicated Ob/Gyn will be alerted that you have arrived for your telehealth visit. You will be greeted by your doctor, and the appointment will begin.
